In 1992 the school was started by Our Honorable founder Thiru V.
APPADORAI in the name of his parents Bhagyam and Chelliah.Hence our school is named as
BhagyamChelliah Matriculation School.Our School motto is Learn and Serve. Let me now begin my report with activities
of Kindergarten LKG and UKG classes are following the Montessori syllabus primary and secondary
classes following the SAMACHEER syllabus prescribed by Matriculation Board of Tamil Nadu Government.
(PTA) Parents Teachers Association meeting was conducted on Every Year
at July month. We discussed about the Academic progress like Punctuality, Responsibility, Discipline and
Co-operation. So that parents and teachers can work together.Kamarajar day was celebrated on 15th July of Every year.Thiru K.V. Vijayakumar Zonal officer, Division IV of Chennai Corporation
presented the Chief Guest of or school. Thiru . R. Mohan Sai(Asst. Revenue officer Zone I Chennai
Corporation and Thiru.S. Stalin presented the function.Medical camp was conducted on 30th July 2013. On that day our school
Founder Thiru V. Appadorai Birthday. Eye Checkup done for our students and parents. This camp was
created the awareness among the students. Camp coordinated by M.N. Eye Hospital.Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August of Every year in
our campus at 8.30 AM. The National Flag Hoisted by Treasurer. Culturals were conducted for the
students.23rd Annual Sports Meet in the Academic year 2014-2015, Thiru. S.
RengaRajan IRS (Joint Commissioner of Income Tax) Chennai, presented the Annual Sports day
celebration.25thSports day celebrated on 3rd September 2016 at 2.00 PM in Our School
Premises. Thiru S. Jeyakumar Deputy Commissioner of Police Washermenpet presided over the function.
March past was done by students are in Green, Yellow, Blue and Lavender Houses. Over all Championship
awarded for the Green House and the overall March Past awarded for the Red House.Teachers day celebrated 5th September on every year.
Our School upgraded to Matriculation Board Examination in the Academic
year 2007-2008.Academic year 2015-16 School awarded 100% centum result.On November 14th Every year children’s Day was celebrated. Competition
was conducted. Children were enjoyed on that day.In the Academic year 2014-2015, Thiru. K. Jagadesan IPS (Deputy Inspector
General of Police, Pondicherry) presented the Chief Guest of our 23rd Annual Day Celebration.Co-curricular activities like scout and guides, yoga karate and art and craft.
2015-16 academic year three students are selected for RajyaPuraskar
award.Eighteen students are selected for HeerakhPankha award.On 19th January The Mass prayer conducted by the school for our Founder
Thiru. V.Appadorai Memory Day.
On January 26th Republic Day celebrated at our school campus. National
Flag Hoisted by Treasurer.SSLC board Examination 2015-16 School awarded centum result. Our school
student D. Suresh Kumar achieved school topper from the North Chennai. It is published by Daily
Thanthi News paper.
School archives the motto and demands of the students are to upgrade
